Database modifications can be implemented immediatelly. The problem is the uploading of new files. These files require that a new name is assigned. So the filename in the table can be based on a filename as uploaded to the place or on a file identification number (which is not necesary now). Probably it is best to put a file into the target directory based on some sensical name.
